• Explains how to do something, how something
is done, how something works.
• Keep in mind = simple present and future are
mostly used.
• Use transitions words = first, second, third,
fourth, after that, next, before, then, etc.

something.
• The purpose is to show which one is more
superior than another, or to show changes
overtime.
• There are two methods: block or point by
point.
