• Giants Solutions is an IT company established in 2018.

• It deals with multiple IT services.

• Giants Solutions is created to address the need for professional IT Consulting, Web Development
services, Software Development Services, Mobile App. Development Services, Digital Marketing &
Multiple IT Services.

• GS enables the customers to become more efficient, streamline your operations, and grow to your true
potential with the power of technology.

• The qualified staff of Giants Solutions has the knowledge and experience to face and solve any problem.

FORECASTING RELATED TO HR OF TALENT/EMPLOYEES

• As we all know that Human Resource Forecasting is the process of utilizing analytics and data in order meet
company’s business goals.

• It is an important activity that plays an important role in company’s growth. Giants Solutions also use
standardized methods for forecasting related to Human Resource of talent/employees. For this purpose,
Giants Solutions use Delphi method.

THE DELPHI METHOD
• As we know that in Delphi method decision relies on the predictions made by the group of experts related to future
staffing needs. for instance most of the it companies rely on international market i.e. they deal in the projects from
USA, CANADA, UK and etc. so when an individual is hired then it is monitored that an employee should be
efficient with expertise and in meeting the timelines because international clients never compromise on quality and
timeline.

 The Delphi method implemented in GS generally involves following stages.


Facilitator is chosen and experts are identified.
 A group of experts and good decision makers is created.
 Matter is defined. In this stage experts are required to understand the problem correctly so it should be ensured that
accurate and precise information is provided.
 The tasks and challenges are decided and distributed among the experts.
 Then decisions are taken by complete analysis and future plans are decided to be implemented.

• Giants solutions knows that recruitment process is backbone of any company because company’s quality resources plays an important role in company’s success. it is the first step to create
powerful resource base. the hiring team of giants solutions follows the following steps in recruitment process:

• Need for job opening is identified.


• Decide whether to hire an individual from internal resources or externally.
• Advertisement for job opening is designed after reviewing the job description and that ad is published on social media platforms of
Giants Solutions.
• The stages of selection are finalized and also the timeline in which hiring is required to be completed.
• Resumes are required to be reviewed that are collected through social media platforms and the official website of the company.
• The best suitable resumes are shortlisted.
• The hiring team of GS proceeds through the stages of selection that were decided.
• Background of every suitable candidate is verified before hiring.
• The best possible candidate is selected.
• Official offer is made to the candidate.

• In GS HR team can create job advertisement depending upon the full JOB DESCRIPTIONS of every role.
Job ads created within GS are very clear and the position opened is accurately represented.

 Personally traits which are required in an organization is clearly mentioned i.e. how a best candidate naturally
posses to be a part of Giants Solutions.

SELECTION

• A good selection process is very important in finding best possible resource which is the backbone of any company.
Giants Solutions mainly focuses on technical skills of an individual as it is an IT company. The selection process of
Giants Solutions is divided into three steps:

• Written Test:

The short-listed candidates are firstly called for the written test in which the conceptual knowledge of each and every
candidate before the examination of practical capabilities. The candidates which are able to pass the written exam are
called for 1st technical interview. These written tests are only conducted for middle management and top management
which require more technical skills. Lower-level employees are hired through interviews only

• Technical Interview:

Candidates who score high in the written exam are short listed and called for technical interview. After the
written exam one thing is clear about the candidate that the candidate is conceptually sounds good and now in the
technical practically skills are checked. For instance, if the candidate is here for the backend developer job then
his/her coding will be tested by assigning the code related tasks, Databases will also be checked and multiple
technical tasks according to the requirements will be assigned to check technical skills. Hiring at all the levels
include this technical interview.

• Final Interview:

After when the candidate clears the technical interview then candidate is called for the final interview in which
candidate’s nature is tested i.e. is he/she suitable to work in company’s environment or not and salaries job timings
and everything related to job is decided on the same day if everything goes good. If everything is clear then in a
day or two candidates is called to collect his/her appointment letter. This interview is also conducted at all levels.

E-Learning:

• Every employee at any level is encouraged in Giants Solutions to focus on e-learning and try to improve their
skills by watching online videos or by doing online courses.

• In the 9 hours of working 2 hours of every employee is dedicated to e-learning that is it is mandatory for every
employee to learn something new on internet on daily basis and those two hours of employees are strictly
monitored because GS believes that the learning at any level should never stop.

Hands-On-Training:

• Giants Solutions also provide hands-on-training to its employees that is


experimental training that mainly target the individual needs of an employee.

• It is conducted directly on the job. With the help of hands-on-training an employee


can fit himself/herself into his/her current or future role.

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL

• As we know that performance appraisal is the process in which the extra contributions and skills of
employees are evaluated which are not the part of his/her job requirements.

• It is also very helpful for the employees to compare and enhance their performance as per requirement. Like
many other companies’ appraisals in Giants Solutions are also conducted annually.

• Giants Solutions uses performance appraisal for the development of its employees. With the help of
performance appraisal, the HR team of Giants Solutions makes the decisions regarding increments &
promotion, firing and terminations.

• Those employees who has an incredible performance i.e. who played the vital part in company’s success are
awarded financial rewards.

EMPLOYEES MOTIVATION/RETENTION
• Motivation of an employee is very necessary in an organization. Because this is the force that binds an individual in
any organization.

• Motivating the talented employees who are the backbone of the company is the most important part of the job of
management.

• If the talented employees will not be motivated then they can prefer moving on into another organization and loss of
talented employees can badly impact company’s performance.

• Giants Solutions take special care of its talented employees.

• Employees whose performance is improving day by day are awarded rewards in different forms, i.e. Giants
Solutions sponsors’ family dinner for the best employee every month. Employees serving GS from 6 or more month
are offered health insurance of up to 0.5 million Rupees in some renowned hospitals within Karachi.

• Picnics and tours are planned at company level in order to refresh employees.
LOOPS WE HAVE FOUND & SUGGESTION
• Although GS is a small IT company right now of up to 19 employees but it is growing day by day. One thing that GS is
missing that it does not specifically have any HR expert in their company. All the HR operations are managed by C.E.O
himself and upper management. One HR manager is missing in an organization because HR expert can manage resources
in much efficient and appropriate way because employees are the backbone of the organization, if they will not be
managed properly them it can badly affect the company’s reputation.

• Another thing that needs to be improved is the salary packages of employees.

• Packages are market competitive but still needs more improvement as per market requirement because every employee
mainly focuses on salary packages first; every other thing came into the consideration after salary.

• If any talented employee is offered better salary package from the competitor then they can easily switch the job and it is a
loss for Giants Solutions.

HR POLICIES
Recruitment Policy:

• Recruitment policy of Giants Solutions simply states that if any individual needs to be hired, he/she should sign the
contract of one year he/she cannot leave the job unless he/she completes one year in Giants Solutions.

Staff Retention:
• The staff retention policy of Giants Solutions states that it is mandatory for the company to increase the salary of
every employee up to 20% at the time of renewal of contract every year.

Attendance & Leave Policy:


• Every employee working at Giants Solutions has 25 days annual leaves. Late coming on regular
basis is unbearable in GS i.e. if any employee comes late (more than 30 minutes) then company
has the right to deduct half day salary of that particular employee.

Drug/Alcohol Abuse Policy:


• This policy states that if any employee found drunk or taking drugs in office at job timings will be terminated on the
spot.

Insurance Policy:
• This policy states that after the completion of 6 months of service company will have to offer medical insurance of
employees up to 0.5 Million Rupees with free health facilities in multiple hospitals of Karachi.

Termination Policy:
• Company can terminate any employee at any time with one month notice period on the basis
of their performance.
