PURPOSE OF The Manager/Senior Manager of the Search Buying team leads a team of
ROLE executives assigned to a portfolio of GroupM Agency’s clients while
activating Search Ads working across a range of diverse, well-known
brands, and delivering high quality Search marketing campaigns.

The GroupM Services team adopt a collaborative and customer-centric


approach in delivering highly valued and innovative solutions for our
Agencies and Agencies’ clients, including the activation and execution of
dynamic media campaigns.

The following are the responsibilities of the GroupM Services Buying Team
(Search) and the varying degree of complexity is subject to individual job
level:
• Deep understanding of all GroupM Agencies deliverables and
campaign KPIs.
• Developing solutions across media behaviors and how target
audience interacts with Search touchpoints (i.e. Google, Microsoft
GroupM Services Advertising, Amazon, eCommerce Platforms)
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and identify opportunities to improve and enhance clients’
campaigns and advise GroupM Agencies accordingly
• Proactively address, and when needed escalate, any issue that
compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverables
• Ensure cluster team understands and comply with finance process
(i.e. optimization requirements and schedule updates), GroupM
policies and procedures
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by demonstrating openness
to new ideas and interest in learning from colleagues with different
expertise.
• Organize and drive knowledge share and understanding of new
trends and technologies across Search activation

• Independently plan (create media schedule) full funnel planning


tactics for Search/eCommerce requirements on across major
Search platforms (i.e. Google, Microsoft Advertising, Amazon and
any self-service eCommerce platforms) across the cluster accounts
• Lead and implement Search campaign activities of established local
INDIVIDUAL and global brands across multiple industries
RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide actionable insights during mid and post campaign reports
to improve in-flight optimizations and future campaign brief
recommendations
• Attain Google Ads, Search/eCommerce and Analytics certifications
• Manage team resources and be responsible for their coaching,
development and day-to-day supervision
• Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time

• 3+ years working experience in Digital Search marketing or relevant


industry
• At least 1 year of managing/mentoring a technical team
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Broad understanding of Non-Digital media and their role in search
and digital
• Strong and fearless in ability to challenge clients and agency
planning team
