CREATING WORKSPACE AT

HOME AND SOME REFLECTIONS

Mark Nicholas B. Reyes
“The pessimist sees the difficulty in every
opportunity. The optimist sees opportunity in
every difficulty”

Winston Churchill
How can I create a good work
space set up at home?
• Clearing my table of all
unnecessary things for
studying
• Maintaining my workspace
as neat and as organized as
possible
• Placing my phone away
from my work table to
prevent distractions
• No playing, no browsing,
no social media use, nor
anything that would be
counter-productive
• I wanted to invest on a
standing table but I cannot
afford it yet hence the
makeshift standing “table”
What are the benefits and
disadvantages of creating a good
work space set up?
• Labelling a work space
as something good or
bad is subjective
• A beautiful workspace
is different from a
productive one
•A good work space
helps me to:
• Maintain focus
• Have a clearer view of
the tasks to be done
• Work efficiently
• Disadvantages of having a
good workspace
• There’s none that I could
think of for having a good
work space per se
• The issue of working from
home
The issue on working from home

• We have had associated or home as a place of

comfort and peace but now we have to associate
it as a place for work as well
• This could impose a challenge on maintaining
focus and on working efficiently with the tasks
and the time we have on hand
What lessons from the
coronavirus pandemic will shape
the future of education?
• If distance learning would be improved
and be standardized then it wouldn’t be
impossible to see a blended type of
learning wherein online classes can be
included with physical classes
• The education system should seriously
consider including sciences that are related
to health and wellness
• Raising awareness and knowledge would
somehow help them make the right
decisions for their own health
