IDEALISM
 The mind, developed through the acquisition of
knowledge, is of highest importance.
 Values exist independently of individuals.
 Fitness and strength activities contribute to the
development of one's personality
REALISM

emphasizes the use of the scientific method to arrive at the
truth. Reasoning and understanding the natural laws of nature
are features of this philosophy
PRAGMATISM

is a philosophical movement that includes those who claim that an ideology or


proposition is true if it works satisfactorily, that the meaning of a proposition is to be
found in the practical consequences of accepting it, and that unpractical ideas are to
be rejected.
