Short term Or Long term
 Any body can maintain short..anybody can
maintain long..the trick is to maintain both.
-Jack welch (A famous management thinker
,former chairman and CEO of G.E)

Relates to mythology-vishnu-associated with

sarp (snake),garuda(eagle).
Family owned business & professionalism.
Son of shakuntala..Bharat.
Ideal Leadership Quality
 King of gods, lord of heaven-Indra -alwasy
pursuing success..
 But lakshmi is on side of vishnu..

 Are u indra--chasing success..

 Or vishnu--success is coming to u.
 Who is a leader ?
3 gods
 Brahma-The Creater
 Vishnu-The Preserver
 Shiva-The destroyer
 Brahma is never worshipped.(is trying to know
himself)
 Shiva says world dosnt matter

 vishnu --the world dosn't matter...so lets enjoy..

Continued..
 Average human being-Brahma..trying to know
himself..yearning for LSD.
 Shiva and goddess. Two sides of shiva.

 Vishnu –is amused at us.

 Is helping us to figure it out.
 So a leader is someone-who enables u to grow
materially,intellectually,emotionally.
 And in doing so grows himself.
Avatar of Vishnu-Leadership
 shank-communicating
 wheel -reviewing
 mace-discipline
 padma-apprecition

 Rules and principles.

 Concept of Yuga.-4 parts:
 youth,maturity,old age,senility
Continued..

 which in many ways represents many phases

when a corporation has to go through
 all the yuga will have diffrnt set of rules..based
on common princeipe...dharma ..(is
principle.not a code of conduct..certainly not
religion)
 we have Ram--faithful to one wife
 Krishna-lover of beauty-many woman
 How do we reconcile both of them..
 and both r gods...both r upholding dharma..but
ruels r diffrnt
 krishna has-radha.rukramani..stayabhama..jamavati

 parshuram-no wife around..

 3 diffrnt gods -3 diffrnt rules..
 so diffrnt kind of leadership required in diffrnt
phases of an org.but all feeding in one
overarching principle..

 but still we always say-Ram Rajya..and not

Krishna Rajya or Parshuram Rajya.
 he is the only form of ..visualized as a king..
 Krishna--is a king maker..

 but he is not woshiped because of a king..he is behaving..as if he is supposed to do...

 an honest wife..and a cruel unjust subject..he chooses cruel subject and rejects his
wife..
 classice conflict-btween personal life and professional life

 he chooses proffesiola life before personal.

 but prfoessional for good of the ppl..not for his own advancement in profession..

 legends--ppl who have scarificed thier childre..are put on higher pedestrial..

 (doing what is imposible to for a common man)

 Ram Rrajya--attainment of impossible because its abt sacrifice..for others..

 sucess is so individualistic ?
 succesful compnaies-we related with one leader
 we rarely praise board of direc ---steve jobs, bill gates, dhiru bhai ambani

 indian-about group,
 biblical ideas-god,prophets,
 greek-hero is someone who challenge d god.

 not achievement of ram, but sacrifice of ram--made him worship

 confclit of board and leader.

 ledaer has to beign with parshuram--strict

 then become ram-
 evolve into krishna
 and if unfortunate may have to become buddha,or kalki
 very early phase of org. very strict-parshu
 ram-being a model..whole country watches him...doing the sacrifice..so he leads by
example..
 eventually become krishna....the ultimate coach..
 coaching creating new talent...hoping they wud become like ram (padnvas).
 and finally becomes buddha...withraws from the system...switches off.. (kings r therir to
take care)
 kalki--destroy it its not worth maintaining anymore..

 its evolutioni of leadership

 early phases-parshu
 perfect phase-ram
 create talent-
 move out-the world will continue without u ..
 and if dosnt deserve to be continued..it will self implode ...detachement
conflict between ramaynd and mahabhart
 its called itihas--history
 actually--tense agnostic term-so it was, it is,it will be (timeless)

 ram-treta-earlier inncent
 later-darker (slightly more corrupt)

 - +
 adharma------------------dharma
 exploit 0 emphaty

 2-2 matrix

 | |
 |+ |
 dharma |kris|ram
 |----|------
 |- |
 |Rav |
 -----|------rules
 - +
 ram-rules and dharma are upheld..event at the cost of onesle.f...
 ravan---the today's alpha male---no rule no principles....ur wife is my wife..m an animal..even if my
son/bruder dies i will nto let go my toy away.
 krishna--rules r bent..but principles r intact ..always for others..
 duryodhan--never breaks the rules--but is constantly violating principles

 yudhistra-moving frm ravana to ram with the help of krishna

 honsty-is abt rules..rater its shud be abt principles
 mahabhart-is abt principles

 when draupdi is being disrobed...everyone is discussing legal matters (rules) whether ist ok or not ok.
 grow up..bhishma.drona watching her being robbed.

 mahab har-more matured

 ram-early phase-everyhign is right..market is right..ppl r not smart..to subvert it yet

 principles r forgottedn (have become bureacutic)

 all rules r upheld..but ppl do not have food.
 woman is disrobed but nobody is arrested ...rules r being follwed not principles..
 draupdi-favoured on husband
 bhima-glutton
 arju-insecure and conceited

 kaurvas-in heaven-kaurvas died on the land was

holy-it was just luck
 u live in heaven only for limited period of time
