LITERATURE REVIEW
 J Hema and V Ariram (2016), in their research paper titled, “ Fundamental analysis with special reference to
pharmaceutical companies listed in NSE” stated that an investor should analyze the market fundamentally
and technically before investing in shares. They also noticed growth in the pharmaceutical industry in India.

 Hemraj Verma and Prakash Tiwari (2009), in their study headed, “A Fundamental analysis of public sector
banks in India” detailed the growth of the Indian banking industry and current performance of the bank with
the help of various ratios.

 Venkatesh C K and Madhu Tyagi (2011), in their research paper titled, “ Fundamental analysis as a method of
share valuation in comparison with technical analysis” detailed about different movement of share prices in
comparison with fundamental and technical analysis. It also emphasized on the market capitalization and
organizational structure.

 Sanjay Sehgal and Meenakshi Gupta (2005), the survey covered institutional and individual technical traders

 Keerthi Gunuraj Kulkarni (2013), the paper had intended on developing a “stock selection criteria” based on
which stocks have been analysed. Whereas my study focuses on the application of Fundamental and
Technical analysis to assist investors to take simple buy or sell positions.

 Venkatesh. C. K and Madhu Tyagi (2011), basically analysed that while investing in all sectors and companies
brokers will use both technical and fundamental analysis but while evaluating companies from Banking,
Cement, Pharmacy and Steel industry they rely on fundamental analysis to forecast price. Technical Analysis
will be used to analyse stock from FMCG, Real Estate, Telecom and IT sector. Crux is that both methods are
equally important and can be used as a compliment to other investing strategies.

(B) BUSSINESS DEVELOPMENT

TASK: To develop the business for the company by generating leads and selling the company’s
software/courses.

METHODOLOGY:
The steps that I followed for the completion of the marketing task were:
1. All the interns were provided with one webinar so as to understand the key points related to the
product/service before pitching it to the clients.
2. I first tried and understood the market/customer I need to target.
3. Then by analysing that, I went on for the next time that is marketing the product/service through online
platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram and Whatsapp.
4. Creating a strong online network is very important for selling and generating leads.
5. I even understood that generating leads can be easier if product/service knowledge is up to mark. Because
before selling a product, knowledge about the product plays an important role.
6. After generating leads, I made the customer understand about the value of the product and when they agreed
on purchasing the product, I myself made sure that all the help that could be provided to them in any case was
given so as to build a strong customer base between the company and client.

using these analysis before investing is been showcased on two different sector that is IT and FMCG.

Various fundamental and technical analysis tools have been used like P/E ratio, ROCE%, various
indicators and crossovers. Fundamental analysis requires both qualitative and quantitative information in
order to identify the performance of the company in the market. The practical usage of both fundamental
and technical analytical tools is been showcased in this study. Though technical and fundamental
analysis are applied on past event but it can for sure guarantee great financial results in future.

And the business development can only be done if one knows how and when the tools can be used so as
to get better results. And to pitch courses/software anything nowadays strong network is required to be
built. And not just for creating strong network but learning more skills as well.
