INTRODUCTION

 Jagdish Parikh 34 years old businessman born in Ahmadabad


 Worked 8 years at Bombay and then went to Harvard University
 Jagdish decided to do his own business
 He is best in manufacturing processing business rather than
service in organization
 He decided to go with paper printing
 Establishment of Printwell partnership in 1963
OBJECTIVES

 To critically analyze the case.

 To answer and put up views to the asked questions.


1. What do you think are the dilemmas that the
young businessman is experiencing?

 Lack of Stability
 Decision making
 Labour force
 Time management

 Conflict between material life and spiritual life .


 Questioning himself on :

1. What makes him good and what makes a businessman better?


2. What is life? What is the goal of life?
2. The businessman seems to value the act of questioning and raising some basic fundamental issues. Is this an appropriate stance for managers
in organizations? Why or why not?

Learning: A true businessman should react depending on the situation,


keeping all his values in mind.
Where do you think the ‘human being’ fits in the
‘organization’? What is the necessary to tap not just
skills, but his spirit?

 Proper utilization of other resources.

 Capable of enlargement.
 Human resources provide productivity quality, work life is profit.
 A leader can be coached on how to become more influential and
engage their team achieve great result.
 An employee can be trained for technical skills to do their job well
 But spirit is to set of soft skills that can’t be trained effectively.
CONCLUSIONS

 Success is not a key to happiness.

 In the journey of being successful entrepreneur. There may be a lot of


challenges, there may be a lot of uncertainty, fear of failure, frustration,
disappointment .
 But you have to keep in mind that when everything seems to be going
against you, remember that the aeroplane takes off against the wind , not
with it.
 The best thing of a successful entrepreneur is their calm mind, because
they know calm mind is the ultimate weapon against your challenges.
