FINDINGS
 Lack of knowledge about commerce at school level tend to choose the course as
survivor to obtain degree.
 Improper motivation from the teachers / institutions is one such drawback why students
are not ready to choose career even in their final year of course.
 Unpopularity of commerce at competitive examinations
 content is given more weight age than practical which must be rectified with the aid of
seminars, workshops by industry experts and teaching using technologies.
 Students area of interest is chosen with the ease of the subject not with their
knowledge about the subject.
 Students should be given proper knowledge about additional online courses through
SWAYAM ,MOOC, etc
SUGGESTIONS
• Most of the students are fearing about their future. For the

encouragement of students , Teachers should counsel them on regular

basis to find their need.

• Institutions have to provide the computer usage system which will give

way for skilful education to the students.

• There are institutions where few ineligible teachers are handling the

courses which makes the students to lose interest in the subject therefore

it is important for the institutions to check teachers updated skills for

teaching.
CONCLUSION
• With the help of survey made these points were made clear:
• A whole range of skills will be demanded from the graduates of
commerce in this changing scenario.
• Adequate field based experience to enhance knowledge with skills
are required to develop appropriate attitudes.
• In this knowledge era, a specialized, industry oriented, technology
supported, practical based, multifaceted, ‘problem posing’ or
knowledge centric commerce education is required to provide the
global competitiveness to commerce students.
