All munitions shall be properly documented before proper


disposition.

During the military exercise proper, a hot and cold time of the
range should be observed to give way to tourists and other civilians
going to the Crater of Mt Pinatubo and other villagers such as IP’s for
precautionary safety measures. However, military exercise will always
be the priority. Tourists and civilian populace are only allowed to pass
through within the given block time as indicated below:

0500H – 0800H
1200H – 1300H
1800H or Upon termination of activity in the afternoon

 RANGE RULES:

Air munitions component recovered during the conduct


of military activity such as in the demolition blocks,
pyrotechnics and dud munitions will be properly disposed by
detailed EOD personnel during the activity.
Night firing and bomb drops more than 500lbs is highly
discouraged due to limited visibility of civilian populace in the
impact area.
The unit utilizing the range for military activity should
ensure the placement of pole with red flag to indicate the
range is hot. Likewise, range security should be deployed
before convening the activity.

 RANGE RULES:

The 710th SPOW shall provide perimeter security to


prevent civilian from entering the Gunnery Range until it
is declared safe.
Only official Photographer is allowed to take
Pictures.
OIC of Disposing Unit shall be designated as overall
in-charge of the Range Security and Safety during
Disposal Operations.
Debriefing of Safety Officers ( Disposing Unit and
790th ABG) after every activity is a must.

1. Before approaching lahar area make sure
to engage the four wheel drive of the vehicle.
2. Analyze the terrain

what to do when you get stucked in the
sand
DONT’S
1. Do not attempt to approach to lahar
area when your vehicle has no 4 wheel
drive or defective 4 wheel drive
2. Do not Overloading.
3. Avoid tailgating.
4. Never use breaks suddenly.
5. Do not engage in other activities while
driving.
