General Problem: this study is to determine the
widely used online shopping platform and the factors
that affect the decisions among PSBA - Manila
students.
• What is the respondent’s demographic profile?
2. What are the widely used online shopping platforms of
the respondents?

terms of decision making?
4. What are the intentions of why our respondents shop?

Significance of the Study
To identify what online shopping platform they prefer on
purchasing products they want.

To improve their services for both buyers and sellers.


Scope and Delimitation
Since we are still facing the Covid-19 pandemic,
everything will be done online through the
distribution of google form questionnaires.
Questionnaires will be distributed to undergraduate
students of Philippine School of Business
Administration - Manila who are currently enrolled
for the academic year 2021-2022.

service quality parameters (reliability, Assurance,
Tangibility, Empathy, and Responsiveness) and the
consumer expectations and impressions are
subordinated to these.

To enable the researcher to gather the
necessary data regarding “The Preferred Online
Shopping Platform of Philippine School of
Business Administration - Manila Students
during the time of Pandemic 2021”, the
researcher made use of the descriptive
method.

Likewise, descriptive methods of research were
defined as a set of gathered data or
information, analyzed, summarized, and
interpreted along certain lines of thought for
the pursuit of a specific purpose or study.

Techniques
For the research instrument, the researchers will
use a survey questionnaire which consists of several
questions that are related to the study. The survey
questionnaire has 4 parts, first part is for the
demographic profile of the respondents, and the
second part is the preferred online shopping
platform,

platform and lastly are the factors that they consider
before buying the products. For the demographic
profile of the respondents, it includes age, sex,
location, course and average monthly allowance

popularity, reviews, perks, shipping fee and delivery
time, and lastly customer consider before buying the
products consist of price, design, quality, accessibility,
delivery, quantity of purchase and rating.
Locale of the Study
Since we are still facing the Covid-19 pandemic, everything
will be done online through the distribution of google form
questionnaires. Questionnaires will be distributed to
undergraduate students of Philippine School of Business
Administration - Manila who are currently enrolled for the
academic year 2021-2022.
Participants/Respondents
The defined target population for the study is one hundred
(100) Undergraduate College Students of PSBA – Manila
who are using online shopping platforms. The researcher
made use of a simple random sampling technique, since it
can be a component of other more complex sampling
methods. Also, it is a subset of a statistical population in
which each member of the subset has an equal probability
of being chosen.

Data Analysis
After gathering information, the researchers then proceed to the analysis and interpretation of data. The researchers interpret the collected data and applied statistical computation in tallying the findings. After the

interpretation, the researcher then made the conclusion.
