Volkswagen Group, also called Volkswagen AG, is a major German automobile manufacturer,

It was founded in 1937 by the German government to mass-produce a low-priced “people’s car”.
The Production of Volkswagen expanded rapidly in the 1950s with the launch of Transporter van
