• The average monthly hours spent by an employee in the company is nearly the same for employees who are satisfied as

accident during their tenure.

• The average time spent at the company by those who have encountered a work accident is 3 years.

• We do not have any information as to when the accident occurred.

Department
Firstly, let us analyse why the the sales, technical and support departments have the maximum number of employees
leaving the company.

• Out of a total of 9090 employees in these 3 departments,2267 employees have left the company which is nearly
25% of the employees.

• The pie chart below shows the satisfaction level of the employees from these 3 departments.

• Nearly 35% of the employees in these departments were dissatisfied with their job.

No of employees

• Graph I shows the number of employees only from

the sales, technical and support departments receiving
low salaries.
• Of these, nearly 35% of the employees have left the
existing left
company.
• The employees from these 3 departments who have left the company have spent nearly the same amount of
years and have engaged in the same number of projects as any other employee in the company.

• However, their average monthly working hours is about 208 which is 8 hours more than the average monthly
working hours of the other employees in the company.

• The average score obtained by these employees in their last evaluation is 0.7 which suggests that these
employees have been performing well in the company.

• On sorting the different points received by all the employees(left and existing) in their last evaluation(0.0
being the lowest and 1.0 being the highest),we notice that the majority of the employees received greater
than 0.5.

• Hence we can say that the employees of a company whether satisfied or dissatisfied with their job did not
fare too badly in their job.
CONCLUSION

• Most of the employees who are leaving the company are from the sales, technical and support
departments.
• Employees of these departments work for almost 8 hours more than the employees of the other
departments.
• They also fared well in their last evaluation.
• But still employees of these departments do not see much promotions and a majority of them receive
low salaries even after spending nearly the same time in the company as those of the other departments.
• A large number of employees receiving low salaries are from these 3 departments.
• Hence we can expect more employees from the sales, technical and support departments receiving low
salaries and no promotions even after spending 3-4 years to leave.

• Further, promotions are not given fairly to all employees. Not all employees who have spent the same
amount of time in the company and who have faired well in their evaluation are receiving promotions.
• Also, nearly 14% of the employees of this company have encountered work accidents which is a very
significant number. The company needs to review its safety features and make sure it is a safe
environment to work in.
