FORWARD Waste Management Approach
• FORWARD is a R&D project funded by

Waste Management in Bali
• There is an estimated 4,000
hotels in Bali, which trash a lot
of unused food or organic
products
• Bali sees about 50 tonnes of
waste per day (that’s 50,000
kg!)
• About 80% of daily waste is
organic / food waste Landfill in Bali

ii. Propose FORWARD as a potential
intervention to the waste management
process

experience of more than 11 years in
having lead teams on tax
administration, diplomatic
assignment, policy formulation and
framework execution.
• Currently undergoing one-year full-
time Master in Public Administration
(MPA) at Lee Kuan Yew School of
Public Policy, National University of
Singapore.
