Retelling a scene
Learning Objectives
 To be able to spot the important elements of the scene worthy of mention.

 Use of effective words and phrases while retelling.


Lets revise.
 What are the people in the scene called?

 What is the place where the scene takes place called?

 What aids can we use while retelling a scene?


Let’s watch a scene where a few men and women come to the Jurassic Park and see dinosaurs for

the first time.

Seeing dinosaur for the first time


Now retell what you
saw.
The scene begins with a few men and women arriving in the car in the middle of a forest.
One of the men gets up in his car and removes his sunglasses to see something that is
shocking. Then he signals to his friend and they all look awestruck as they see a huge and
magnificent dinosaur.

After they recover from the shock, they stand next to the dinosaur to admire it. The
dinosaur raises its front legs and lets out a roar. They are elated to find out that there is a T-
Rex in the forest too.

The scene ends with two men and the women watching, stunned, as a herd of dinosaurs
gather near the lake to drink water.
