 Daniel H. Burnham, was an American architect and urban designer.


 He had prominent roles in the creation of master plans for the development of a number
of cities
 He was the Director of Works for the World‘s Columbian Exposition in Chicago.

ABOUT THE BUILDING
 It is called one of the world's most iconic
skyscrapers, and a quintessential symbol
of New York City
 The name "Flatiron" derives from its
resemblance to a cast-iron clothes' iron.
 Neighborhood is called the Flatiron
District after its signature building
 The Flatiron Building is a triangular 22-story, 285-
foot tall landmarked building
 Built around a skeleton of steel,
 Building is fronted with limestone and terra-cotta
 Shaped like a perfect right triangle,
 It measures only six feet across the narrow end
