SUSPENSION
 Suspension is a assembly of springs, shock absorbers and linkages which connect
the motor cycle to its wheel.
 The motor cycle has a front suspension and rear suspension.
Working of suspension system:
 Suspension system consists of two basic components spring and shock absorber
it works on the basis on the basis principle of spring energy.
Telescopic suspension system:
 Telescopic suspension is mainly used for front suspension system.
 The bottom of the forks is connected to the front axle around which the front
wheel spins.
Parts:
1. Fork tube
2. Spring
3. Fork seal
4. Slider
5. Damper valve
6. Fork oil
7. Damper bolt
8. Drain.
Standard coil suspension:
 Standard coil suspension is generally used for rear suspension system in motor
cycle.
 It has two sets of shock absorbers.
 It is connected to chassis on the upper end and swing arm at lower end.
This standard coil suspension system works by hydraulic system. It bears the
heavy loads.
Mono-cross suspension system:
 This mono cross suspension system used mostly for rear suspension system.
 Mono-shock are said to eliminate torque to the swing arm and provides more
consistent handling and braking.
