broken and that service has been
carried out within the prescribed time
– Check that the fire extinguisher and its
holder are not damaged.

– Check that air and lubrication oil come Low pressure
out accumulator (Charged to 10 bar)
– Check the damper pressure. (25-27 bar
on display in cabin)
– Check that the shank adapter threads High pressure
are not damage accumulator
– Keep an eye on the hydraulic hoses. (Charged to 80 bar)
If they vibrate too much, check the
accumulators

In case of cold climate:
• Drain the water system
• Drain the air system

Brake test – Parking brake

1. Make sure that the parking brake is


applied
2. Start the diesel engine and engage
1st gear
3. Gradually increase engine rpm to
maximum
4. Check the rig for movement. If the
rig moves the self adjusted brakes
must be repaired or replaced
without delay

– Note
Do not continue this check for longer
than 4 seconds at most

1. Start the diesel engine


2. Depress the brake pedal and hold it
down
3. Release the parking brake
4. Engage 1st gear
5. Gradually increase engine rpm to
maximum
6. Check the rig for movement. If the
rig moves the self adjusted brakes
must be repaired or replaced
without delay

– Note
Do not continue this check for longer
than 4 seconds at most
