(HHX)
Admission
• Students apply for enrolment in March
• Acceptance depends on:
• No less than 9 years of school
• Grades
• Individual assessment
• Some students need to take an entrance exam
• Divided into classes, based on 2nd foreign language choice & previous school
Timetables
• Changes from week to week – no week is the same
• A calendar is made to keep track of what happens when

• Optional subjects for the whole year group (e.g. Finance, Psychology)
• Interdisciplinary courses/projects for the whole year group
• Teachers’ individual needs (picking up children, holidays, external activities)

Interdisciplinary courses
• 7 interdisciplinary courses through the first 2,5 years (SOF)
• A variety of subjects in combination, e.g.:
• Maths, IT, Social Sciences
• Danish, English, 2nd foreign language

• Final Individual Project (SOP)


• Spring term, final year
• Based on two subjects, one must be related to a profile subject, one must be A-level
• 50 hours are allocated: 20 at school (supervision, workshops), 30 self-study
• Assessment: a 30-minute oral examination (presentation and discussion)
Exams
• To graduate from Business College, students need:
• At least 2605 hours of classes
• Final marks in all their subjects
• Complete the final individual project, incl. the oral exam
• Complete 9 exams: written or oral (decided by the Ministry of Education - the schools make
the individual exam plans)
• The Ministry of Education makes all written examination questions
• The Ministry of Education appoints external examiners for all examinations
• No less than 02 as a weighted average mark (marks are awarded on a 7-point scale from -3 to
12)
