Startup Assignment

Content:
Presentation about the startup you imagined for the business plan in the first term.
The presentation should be structured in the way we discussed in class (see booklet pages 34 to 37).

The presentation has to include the following sections:

- The Product  Describe the product you’re offering. What makes it special? Describe the type of
market research you’ve done and show results.
- Business plan  Describe how you intend to carry out your business idea. Is it a physical or digital
store? How many people will work there? Delivery or pickup? How will you advertise?
- Costs and capital  What will your initial costs be (raw materials, packaging, utilities, rent, etc.)?
Show actual evidence of this (real quotes, current prices of raw materials taken from websites, etc.
Use screenshots). Where will you obtain the initial capital?

You must:
- Prepare a slideshow to support your presentation.
- Keep your presentation between 5 and 10 minutes.
- Make sure your presentation is correctly structured (include all the steps covered in class).
- Follow the tips covered in class.

You can:
- Include other support material (samples, handouts).
- Include more sections in the presentation.

Date: 14th, 16th, 21st of November. All presentations should be ready for the 14th. Priority will be given to
those students who need to take remedial exams during the PIA.

Deadline to submit slideshows (files or links): 13th November.
