MUSEUM ANGKUT
Museum Angkut (in English as Transportation Museum) in an transport museum located in Batu, East Java
Indonesia and located on hillside of Mount Panderman, part of Mount Kawi-Butak. The museum has more
than 300 collections of types of traditional to modern transportation. The museum is divided into several zones
decorated with the background of building models from the continents of Asia, Europe to America. Especially
in the European Zone, its setting by 1800-1900s French-style with various vintage European cars. Museum
Angkut is the first all type and mode of transportation museum in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

Museum Angkut is owned and operated by Jawa Timur Park Group which also has Batu Secret Zoo, Batu
Night Spectacular (BNS), Eco Green Park and Wildlife Museum, The Museum was founded on 9 March 2014.

The Museum Angkut consists of
several zones according to historical
background and the type of
transportation, namely Education
zone, German Zone, Batavia Zone,
England Zone, Gangster & Broadway
Zone, Las Vegas Zone, Italy Zone,
Hollywood Zone, French Zone, and
Floating Market Nusantara.

Main Hall Zone


The Education Zone provides general
knowledge about land, sea, and air
transportation and its history. Meanwhile, in
the Chinatown Zone, various typical
Indonesian transportation such as carts,
bicycles and baskets containing merchandise,
gigs, trishaws, oplets to motorbikes in the
1940s, are here to liven up the atmosphere like
being in an Indonesian-style Chinatown.
The Batavia Zone features the Sunda Kelapa
port and Jakarta Kota Station which is set in
the early 19th century. In this zone, the crowds
of the port are displayed with an atmosphere
of buying and selling, trishaws, carts,
minibuses, and a number of transportation at
that time.

Route to Museum Angkut
If use a private vehicle, from Surabaya to
Malang can use the toll road. Then from
Malang, can go north to go to Batu city Square.
From Batu Town Square, it is only about 10
minutes to Museum Angkut.

For those of you who use public transportation,


if you take the bus and get off at Terminal
Arjosari Malang, can continue journey by
taking the ADL public transportation to
Arjosari-Dinoyo-Landungsari or AL public
transportation going to Arjosari-Landungsari
then getting off at Landungsari Terminal.

From Landungsari Terminal, change to an

Station, then take the ADL or AL public transportation and Terminal, then change another public

The price of admission to Museum Angkut on Monday-Thursday is Rp 70.000
while on Friday-Sunday and other holiday dates Rp 100.000
In addition to the regular HTM above, can choose the type of canal ticket, if want
to try all the places tha are under the auspices of the Jawa Timur Group, namely :
 Sakti ticket (valid for 2 days) all day IDR 375.000,-
 Super Sakti Ticket (valid for 4 days) all day IDR 450.000,-
Both tickets include 8 tourist attractions including : Jatimpark
1, Jatimpark 2 ( Batu Secret zoo+Animal Museum), Eco Green
Park, BNS, Museum Angkut, Body Museum and Predator Fun
Park.
Because the attraction of this Museum is the collection, then
those of you who bring DSLR, Polaroid, Handycam, Digital
MUSEUM Camera, etc. Will be charged and additional ticket. Additional
ANGKUT ticket of Rp 30.000/camera.

Opening Hours

The Operating hours of this museum are every


day and start at 12:00-20:00 WIB. If want to visit
here, can come a bit late. Because this museum
is open from 12:00 Noon and will be closed at
20:00 both weekdays and weekends.

Opening hours are deliberately opened a bit


late, because before opening all officers must
frequently check the property and cleanliness.

This museum combines the concept of entertainment and historical attractionsfrom
transportation tools that exist around the world. This creative museum holds the title as the
only tourist attraction that holds the concept of transportation tourism in Indonesia.

More than 500 transportation collections are available at the Museum Angkut, from ancient
to modern collections. Not only as a display, the collection of old cars at the Museum
Angkut is claimed to still function. Museum Angkut has its own team of mechanics who
specifically take care of the vehicle collections there.
