STEAM POWER PLANT

Steam / Thermal Power Plant burns fossil

fuels, biomass, and nuclear fuels to produce
electricity. It has components to convert the fuel
into heat in the combustion chamber, generate
steam in the steam generator , and convert
thermal energy to mechanical energy in the
steam turbine and then finally converting
mechanical energy to electrical energy via a
generator.
