Objectives of the Study

Primary Objectives-
 To find out what is Human Resource Planning.

Findings
 When employees face any personal problems, these problems rarely
gets addressed by the management.

 Performance evaluations are an important part of Dainik Bhaskar’s


HR policy to find out if the employees are doing their job right.

 Dainik Bhaskar does communicate about the issues affecting the


company to its employees so that the employees remain updated.
Findings
 The compensation is based on hierarchy and not performance.
Additional rewards are provided but they are non-cash incentives.

 Dainik Bhaskar conducts surveys for feedback on company policies,


but not regularly.

 DB encourages unskilled employees to take part in apprenticeship


programs. It is important to provide the employees such opportunities
where they can get familiar with their job and perform well.
Findings
 Dainik Bhaskar offers a retirement savings plan to its employees but
it has certain minimum requirements to avail the benefits of it.

 DB doesn’t have any formal complaint resolution process. It only


has a complaint box where the employees can put their complaints
anonymously.

 Dainik Bhaskar has a formal induction program so the employees


get accustomed to the job role and the organization.
