Our
experience in
France
 Day One
Day one: - April 6, 2021 for the first day of my trip to France I arrived at the airport where my
roommates Laura, Luisa, Dayana and Nilsa were welcoming me with the surprise that we would live
the experience of a concert in that city, where Maroon 5, Black Eyes Peas and Adele would be
performing that day, so I was very excited because it would be the first time to have this experience,
then I went through a clinical laboratory to take the covid-19 test to enter the country safely, then we
went to have lunch to be ready for the concerts and when it was time to leave for the event we went
to the supermarket to buy supplies so we wouldn't get out of the concert lines since we would be left
behind and we wouldn't be able to enjoy it in the same way, so when we arrived people were already
organizing tents, people were sharing canned goods for their meals, so it was super weird to live it.
 Day Two
April 7, 2021 for my second day of the event we got up and
showered at a hotel near the event where we had our luggage and
where we would be staying, then we had breakfast, got dressed up
and brought more bottles with water and cans of food so we could be
ready for another day of concert fun, that day we enjoyed Shakira,
Lady Gaga and Maluma, bought colorful bracelets and drank some
beers.
 Day three
April 8, 2021 to finish our day of continuous concerts during the 3
nights, we bought shirts, bracelets, shoes, hats and enjoyed Shaggy,
Sean Paul and The Pussycat Dolls and at the end of the day we went to
the hotel to pick up our luggage and headed to the airport full of
wonderful experiences, full of surprises, joys and one or another
tasteless.
 Experiences
At the beginning of this great experience together with our colleagues,
Fernanda, Daniela, Luisa, Nilsan, we learned many things, we learned about the
culture, including gastronomy, in which its cheeses and wines stand out, as well
as haute couture and some other traditions related to luxury. We also observed
several languages ​that they use, we also observed that traditional English and
British English are widely used, we just thought that traditional English was
used. A very kind gentleman taught us that France has a long and distinguished
musical tradition. Since before the year 1000, the Gregorian chant used in the
liturgies stands out. In France, polyphony (superposition of melodic lines) was
created. Although with my companions we enjoyed other types of singers that
was very pleasant. It was quite cold so we bought beautiful coats and hats. A
wonderful experience.
 Differences
This experience was wonderful to live next to my companions, an
experience that we will never forget, we noticed cultural
differences between France and Colombia, in France they never
wake up with the sun because they have blinds that do not pass
the light, the French never ask for information in the street , the
French do not eat breakfast in abundance, they only have a coffee,
in France they only have a name and a surname and so on among
many differences.
