INTRODUCTION

No-due: A Declaration slip given by authority to issue hall tickets for those students who
cleared all their fees and pending charges if any.

Generally in order to make sure only those students who had cleared all their due’s like
Semester fees, Donation amount, library fee, lab charges and penalty charges(if any) etc to
receive their respective hall ticket this system has been introduced in colleges. Students who have
any sort of due can be filtered out from this method ,he or she should pay and clear the amount
to get their hall ticket this system ensures it. Each and every student needs to collect this slip and
get all the respective authority’s stamp and after enlisting all the areas with clearance stamp the
student is allowed to get his/her hall ticket by handing over this form to respective mentor.
EXISTING SYSTEM

The Traditional method in our college involves student standing in hours long
queue near each and every department i.e Library, PT room, Labs and
Accounts to get their respective clearance stamps .After getting all the required
stamps or signature each student is allowed to receive their hall tickets from
their class mentor after verifying the forms. If any students fails to clear their
fee or charges which he is liable for then he or she would have to pay the
charges/fees then only he could get the clearance stamp for that department.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
As the system involves each and every student appearing near each department in order
to get their stamps ,it becomes a tedious and time taking task for the person at the desk
and as well as to the student also. This problem is mainly due to huge difference in the
number of students and the staff issuing the stamps and sometimes it may also due to
power cuts or server down etc hence the students get stacked up in queues waiting for
their turn to get their stamps. Any problem that arises near the staff side while issuing
stamp will effect the pace at which the stamps are issued and also when the deadline gets
near the amount of student who appear near department also increases tremendously .
Lastly even the working hours of staff will also effect the issuing of no-due forms, as the
student gets free time to appear near departments only in their breaks at the same time
the staff also might take their break hence it becomes inevitable to get their stamps.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

The proposed system involves a web-app available both at user(student) and admin(staff issuing stamps)
side .This apps works on a simple note called “Query Processing” here each student will enter his/her credentials
in order to get connect to the webpage form their he passes a query to each department simply selecting them
from list then this generated query for clearance stamps reaches to authority side where the staff checks his/her
eligibility to get the stamp and then in response they send the clearance stamp with unique id generated near the
staff side , this is similar to that of OTP so that to ensure that it is legitimate stamp . After getting all the stamps
this are forwarded to the mentor again by web-app where the unique ids are mapped to verify his stamps then
he/she becomes eligible to receive his/her hall ticket. This system solves the problems in existing systems like
standing hours long queue, saving time, less timeous and no inconvenience to both student and staff .

SCOPE & PURPOSE

1. The main motto of this project is to ease off the inconvenience faced by
student and faculty by developing a digital communication between students
and staff of the college who issue No-Due.
2. Also can be developed for various purposes .
3. Reduces both time & effort put in.
4. An online platform readily available to check status of each student and
notify him/her the areas of due.
DATABASE DESCRIPTION
• This project uses a PhpMyAdmin provided
by xampp which stores the records of the
student details who will request the No-
Due.
