FUTURE SIMPLE - WILL

USAGES
(1)
Future Simple (WILL) is used when
we decide to do something at the
time speaking. The action will take
place after the current moment.

PAST NOW FUTURE


For
example:
I WILL WALK HOME.
... means that
sometime in the
future, after now, I
will walk.

PAST NOW FUTURE


Or..
:
WE WILL DANCE
TONIGHT.
... means that
sometime in the
future, after now, We
will dance.

USAGES

We use “going to (+V1)” when we say
what we have decided to do or what we
intend to do in the future (Prior Plan).

• I am going to meet your parents next


year.
• We are not going to go to Kopo, okay?
• Sue and I are going to travel round the
world.

We use “going to (+V1)” for
making predictions when there
is definite evidence or a sign that
something is likely to happen.
• I think it is going to rain - I just felt
a drop.
• I don't feel well. I think I'm going
to throw up.
