Bangladesh
Bangladesh's travel and tourism sector – one of the industries hit the hardest by the

says a latest World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) report. The WTTC's 2021
Economic Impact Report estimated that the country's travel and tourism sector
accumulated a gross domestic product (GDP) of Tk53,960 crore in 2020, which was

sector's contribution to the economy. Besides, over 4 lakh people involved in the
country's tourism sector lost their jobs last year amid the crisis. According to the

Recommendation

spots by the maintaining international standards.
 Tourist spots should be peaceful, untouched but it should have relaxing, fun, exciting,
safe and secured,
 Medical center should be established by the government in every tourist spot to ensure medical
services.
 Ensuring economic benefits of the local/indigenous people.
 Proper waste management system is essential.

Opinion

First of all the tourism sector have to solve all the issues like political issues, safety issues
and other issues that affect tourism sector most. If the tourism sector able to solve the
problems that affect tourism then in the foreign visitors mind we can establish a positive
image of Bangladesh. There are many promotional techniques that if those techniques apply
by the foreign visitors then the tourism sector can get huge benefits from those techniques.
Government also has to apply some rules that help the tourism sector in future. There are
many promotional techniques like online promotion, sales promotion, publishing interesting
articles about our tourist’s places. If the techniques follow step by step then tourism sector
can get huge benefits from those techniques.
Conclusion

At last, as we know that Bangladesh is a developing country. For increase foreign

currency in Bangladesh tourism is one of the most important sectors. So the
tourism industry and government both have to do all sort of possible work that
should help to make a better future for Bangladesh tourism.
