to…
Student Learning Goals and Standards
● Students will be able to apply skills learned throughout our lessons
● Students will be able to calculate the cost of items
● Students will be able to determine the distance of travel and gas milage with decimals
● Students will be able to identify healthy food choices
● Work collaboratively with peers and improve with feedback from others
Student Learning Goals and Standards
California Content Standards:

Social Studies: 4.1 Students demonstrate an understanding of the physical and human
geographic features that define places and regions in California.

Math: CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.4.NBT.B.4 Fluently add and subtract multi-digit whole

numbers using the standard algorithm.

Perform operations with multi-digit whole numbers and with decimals to hundredths.

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.5.NBT.B.5 Fluently multiply multi-digit whole numbers using the

standard algorithm.

Physical Education: 4.4 Identify healthful choices for meals and snacks that help improve
physical performance.
Essential Question:

● What does it take to plan a fishing trip to a state park in California,

and how much or how little could it cost?
Who will be going on your fishing trip?
