• ERP is a business management system and is used to coordinate and develop
critical features of a business operations such as marketing, sales, organizing,
purchasing of inventory, finance, information technology, and so on.

• ERP automates the entire business process, from customer order to

final distribution.

• Some of the benefits of ERP is that it helps with

quality control, the customer satisfaction is increased, pre planning and setting
business schedule becomes easier, efficiency in production tasks and many more.

• Green rabbit was founded by two friends, Greg
Balestrieri and Joe Melville in 2009.

• The company was initially known as Candy.com but later

changed the name to Green Rabbit because it expanded
the company's offerings beyond candy to include
perishable and frozen foods.

• Green Rabbit is a trusted transportation and logistics

provider for  fast and safe delivery of fresh produce and
grocery items.

 PROBLEMS FACED BEFORE ERP EXECUTION
A shift to Supply chain logistics challenged the company in many ways:

• Green Rabbit's various databases were unable to share information

with one another, constantly making analysis of the data impossible.

• The company was using paper based system which consumed time
and caused delays.

• Company’s QuickBooks, excel and emails were not organized.

• No personal support sites where product details and historical

condition were preserved and processed.

• Company’s warehouse was frequently lingering for assistance from

the IT team.

• In order to make the company’s operations efficient and productive,
Green rabbit had to implement an ERP system to keep up with their
strategic business goals.

• The ERP system Green Rabbit opted for was NetSuite ERP

• The company was able to ship tens of thousands of goods per day without any
delays.

• Instead of risking errors from manually entered data, the company obtained
99% guaranteed error-free data from its ERP system.

• The company shiped perishable goods and snacks from its three different
warehouses within 24 hours.

• Their account books were balanced.

 CONCLUSION

To summarize what have been discussed so far, an ERP system is crucial for
any organizational growth. Green Rabbit implemented ERP and after its
execution the company have excelled in its operations significantly and
anticipated further growth. Its revenue doubled within months and today, six
of the ten largest retailers in the U.S. and four of the ten largest global
foodservice manufacturing companies rely on Green Rabbit to maximize the
value of their digital food delivery reforms.

 GENERAL DISCUSSION
Through this presentation I aimed to discuss what an ERP system is and
what are its gains and advantages.
How Green Rabbit capitalized on an ERP system and what were the
problems that company faced before the implementation and how it
flourished itself after the execution of the SAP system.
