I would like to use Canva to allow

Why I like Nearpod…
Nearpod takes your regular slide
shows and makes them interactive.

How would I use Nearpod in the


classroom…
I would use Nearpod in my classroom
to involve students so they do not
space off during class. Plus they
can take little assessments as we
go through the slide show.

Why I like Pear Deck…
I like to use Pea Deck for the same
reasons I like Nearpod, but I feel
like it is easier to use.

students what their peers think

data collections they have in the
website.

Why do I like EdPuzzle…
EdPuzzle allows you to take videos
and ad prompts that allow students
to show you that they are retaining
information.

How would I use EdPuzzle in my

I would use EdPuzzle for days that
I have a sub in the classroom and I
can still teach without being
present.

SlidesCarnival allows you to get
ahold of presentation templates
that Google slides does not have.

I would use this tool to create
slide shows that are interesting
and quicker than designing my own.

Why I like Padlet…
I like Padlet because it allows to
student to see other responses but
also create their own and share
ideas.
How would I use Padlet in the
classroom…
I would use Padlet for homework,
students could be given a prompt
and then just type under the prompt
rather than worrying about homework
getting to and from home.

Education
Why I like Discovery Education…
Discovery Education allows for
teachers to take their students on
field trips to the tundra that they
couldn’t do in person.
How would I use Discovery
Education in the classroom…
I would use this website to show
students a place outside of what
they know and they also get to talk
to scientists about the information
they are learning. A great way to
involve science and geography.

Creator
Why I like Tessellation
Creator…
I like Tessellation Creator because
it gives students the chance to be
creative while using their shapes
to create designs.
How would I use Tessellation
Creator in the classroom…
I would give students instructions
about what to use and how to lay
them out and see if they knew the
names of the shapes they were asked
to lay out to decide if they had
learned their polygon names.
