TRAIT is a noticeable feature or quality

in a person.
 Heredity is the passing of traits from
parent to offspring.
INHERITED TRAITS are those traits that
are passed down from parents to their
offspring.
Eye color, hair color, skin color, freckles
and dimples are all examples of inherited
traits.
 HOW ARE TRAITS PASSED?
When organisms reproduce, traits are passed from
parent to offspring.
These traits are carried in DNA, the genetic
material found in a cell’s nucleus.
DNA acts like a blueprint.
Social Trait – refers on how you
mingle/socialize with other people.
Mental Trait – refers to the way you think and
learn.
Emotional Trait – feelings or emotions felt by
people at different times.
Physical Trait – tells things about your body.
 What is Personality?

The combination of characteristics or

qualities that form an individual’s
distinctive character.
It is the combination of the ways
you think, act and feel.
Personality comes from the Latin word PERSONA
which refers to the theatrical mask worn by
performers in order to either project different roles
or disguises their identities.

Pencil, pen and colored markers or
crayons
 Instruction:
Let’s start our time together by knowing each other and
ourselves.

On the sheet of paper that you have I want you to draw a
pig.
Make it as detailed as you like..

If the pig is drawn to:
Toward the top of the paper – You have
the tendency to be positive or
optimistic.
Toward the middle - You have the
tendency to be a realist.
Toward the bottom - You have a
tendency to be pessimistic and may be
prone to behaving negatively.
 Facing Left

You have a tendency to believe in

tradition and be friendly; You may also
be prone to remembering dates as well.
 Facing Right

You have the tendency to be innovative

and active; but may be prone to
forgetting dates easily and may not have
the strong sense of family.
 Facing Front
You have the tendency to be direct, and may enjoy
playing the role of devil’s advocate ; you may also
prone to neither fearing nor avoiding the
confrontational discussions.

may also be prone to be cautious to the
point that you struggle with trust.
