Innovation: Innovation can have many forms. It can be a new to the world ingredient or a new to the company ingredient or
product.It can also be a process improvement. I have seen it all and have utilized my experience to deliver various innovations
throughout my career.

Product Development: I believe in agile NPD. Getting the product 70% there. Then co-creating with your customers to finalize it.
Don’t try to fully optimize without your customer’s input.. Don’t fall in love with your idea. Fail early and fail fast. If all goes well
and you get your customers involved early, you can convert it to revenue as quickly as possible. I have made mistakes and now
I’m helping my clients avoid them. I also use a product agnostic approach. Suggesting only the ingredients you need. I am not
going to push an ingredient like many large suppliers may do because they have huge investments and ROI expectations.

Troubleshooting: Texturizers and stabilizers are first to be blamed when a product fails. Their performance depends on time,
temperature, pressure, presence of other ingredients. If you are struggling, first reach out to your supplier for complimentary
support. If they fail to respond or if they ultimately can’t help you, I am happy to step in.

Cost savings: There are many ways to leverage complementary ingredients to reduce the overall use level and cost in use in a
given formula. I will review your formulas and recommend alternative options to reduce the formula cost or processing cost.

Sales and Pipeline Management: This service is for ingredient development companies only. If you do not have a CRM I can help
you set up one. If you have a CRM, I can help you develop metrics to ensure your pipeline is growing, understand how
opportunities are moving through your pipeline and monitor the progress. Remember, what gets measured, gets better!

Due Diligence: This is mainly for the investor community. Based on my understanding of ingredient functionality and product
formulations, I can help you assess your target
