Truss Bridge

I learned skills on using the line tool. Many programs offer line tools, so students can
utalize those features to make models without needing to pay for or learn art specific
programs. The skills to create a piece of diagram on a free, commonly used program
can provide easy exposure to building, planning and creating models.

Standard 4 #2: “ Students select and use digital tools to plan and manage a design
process that considers design contraints and calculated risks.”

Students will use the digital program to plan and blueprint their bridges, then follow up
on creating a physical model. In the lesson plan of a truss bridge project, the start of
digitally designing the 2d model can enforce the usage of using programs in a way of
art, expanding more uses of the tools these programs offer.
