SQUEEZE LIME juice ONTO SALMON SLICE, THEN
TRANSFER ONTO THE VEGETABLES, DRESSED IN THE COOKED SAUCE. STEP 5
GET EVERYONE TO TOSS THE SALAD USING
CHOPSTICKS. Yee Sang is a traditional dish served as an appetizer during Chinese New Year due to its symbolism of “Good Luck” for the new year.
When the Yee Sang is ready to
serve, everyone gathers around the dish and toss it as high as possible using chopsticks while wishing for luck, prosperity and all good things to happen in the coming year.
