Technology and its effects on environment

It is not possible to write about technological advances
without taking into account the collateral damage to our
ecosystem. There are numerous cases that the can
evidence about the damage caused to our environment,
examples such as the destruction of the ozone layer with
the pollution of gases produced by vehicles both
terrestrial and aerial, aerosols, etc. Although we must
also take into account that many of these technological
advances have allowed us to develop or implement ways
to safeguard the ecosystem a little, such as clean
energies like wind and solar energy.
Technology and global warming
I believe that technology over the years has been
contributing mercilessly to global warming, and that
the most developed countries, we as inhabitants of
this world have become totally consumer beings and
even more consumers of non-renewable materials,
for example the cutting down of forests to convert
them into grazing areas, the implementation of
chemicals for agriculture, the use of engines that
emit harmful gases that go into the atmosphere, all
this greatly affects the formation of greenhouse gases
that contribute to the abrupt changes in climate that
lead to the desertification of the planet and thus to
global warming.
Recommendations to improve the environment and conclusions

I believe that our governments, our governmental institutions,

our society and we individually must each take up the banner
of environmental protection and care. We have the means, the
technology up to this moment has served as an advance and
progress of humanity, therefore it is time to put it fully at the
service of the care of the environment. Our rulers must
continue with the production of clean energy, such as solar
energy that does not cause any deterioration to the
atmosphere, it is necessary to continue with the mass
production of vehicles powered by electricity to avoid the
expulsion of particulate matter that rarifies the air we breathe.
Government agencies should create incentives for those who
promote eco-sustainable industries that do not produce too
much carbon dioxide and also use recycling as a raw material,
in short, encourage the growth of a circular economy that
produces goods and services by reducing the waste of raw
materials, water and energy. Finally, more severe laws and
punishments should be applied to those who do not comply
with the necessary care for the environment.
