Technology and its effects on environment
It is not possible to write about technological advances
without taking into account the collateral damage to our
ecosystem. There are numerous cases that the can
evidence about the damage caused to our environment,
examples such as the destruction of the ozone layer with
the pollution of gases produced by vehicles both
terrestrial and aerial, aerosols, etc. Although we must
also take into account that many of these technological
advances have allowed us to develop or implement ways
to safeguard the ecosystem a little, such as clean
energies like wind and solar energy.
Technology and global warming
I believe that technology over the years has been
contributing mercilessly to global warming, and that
the most developed countries, we as inhabitants of
this world have become totally consumer beings and
even more consumers of non-renewable materials,
for example the cutting down of forests to convert
them into grazing areas, the implementation of
chemicals for agriculture, the use of engines that
emit harmful gases that go into the atmosphere, all
this greatly affects the formation of greenhouse gases
that contribute to the abrupt changes in climate that
lead to the desertification of the planet and thus to
global warming.
