Learning Objectives
At the end of this module, you are expected to:
1. Recognize the capabilities in solving issues involving oneself and
others,
2. Value one’s important role in the community; and
3. Develop social responsibility through active community involvement

Period : Week 1-4 of 3rd quarter

bond papers/sheet of paper
any coloring materials
INTRODUCTION

 This module help you realize that you


can also be a real – life superhero, simply by
sharing your skills, helping others and
participating in community activities, you will
recognize your important role in the society.
Hence, you will discover that you have the
capability to inspire other people around you.

The Hero in my mind

Who you look up to? Each of us has our own real –


life heroes that admire. They are the people who
inspire you to because of their distinguished courage
or ability, good deeds and noble qualities.

Copy and answer the activities and processing


questions on a sheet of paper.

Share your real- life hero. He/She can be a member


of your family, a distinct person in your community
or a famous individual.
Write down his/her heroic qualities and deeds wich
made you regard him/her as your model or person.

What do you think will happen if all of us will be mindful or


sensitive of the needs of others? Let’s ponder on this:

No one will feel Hopeless or Helpless.

No one will tremble in facing Life Stress.

your community a better place to live in.
1. Draw a self- portrait. But instead of drawing yourself as a
real– life or modern- day superhero,
2. Around your illustration, list down your superhero powers
(qualities, skills and abilities) and share how you willuse
them to help others and respond to the needs of your
community.
3. Use a clean sheet of paper and available coloring materials
for this activity. Then, answer the processing questions.

I. In a piece of paper, draw your ideal hero. Describe


him/her by giving a name, state his/her physical
strengths, characteristics and uniqueness.

II. Create a slogan in English or Filipino or in your


mother tounge about the importance of being
responsible for oneself and for others.
