Periksa nadi karotis 5 – 10 detik

telunjuk dan jari tengah

• Mulai dari meraba tulang Krikoid

Geser kearah lateral, jangan melewati

muskulus Sternokledomastoideus

•Bila nadi teraba, cek nafas

•Bila tidak bernafas berikan nafas

•Bila nadi tidak teraba lakukan RJP

Lanjutan C (circulation)

- Untuk awam cek nadi tidak dianjurkan

- Membutuhkan waktu cukup lama,
keterampilan dan pengalaman

- Salah cek nadi memakan waktu 35% dari waktu

- Penolong dapat melakukan cek tanda-
tanda sirkulasi dengan melihat napas spontan, batuk
atau pergerakan tubuh lainnya
Jika denyut nadi tidak teraba, lakukan kompresi dada luar
Letakkan 2 jari diatas
Prosesus Xiphoideus atau Lakukan kompresi 30 kali dan
sejajar dengan puting ventilasi 2 kali

Kedalaman kompresi antara 2 – 2.4 inci / 5- 6cm

Hindari pemberian ventilasi yang terlalu kuat dan terlalu cepat karena dapat
menyebabkan distensi lambung 
- resistensi terhadap tiupan,
- Muntah
- Aspirasi
- Pneumonia

• KONSENTRASI O2 saat memberi bantuan napas  16 – 17 %
