DEFINITION
• Solid waste management refers to ways in which
wastes are properly handled after they have been
discarded by the owner.

transportation to the final disposal sites
• Transportation. This is a stage when solid waste is
transported to the final disposal site
• Disposal . The final stage of solid waste management is
safe disposal where associated risks are minimised.

recycled
• This method is environmental friendly.
