Process in Determining the School
Coordinates (Longitude and Latitude)
Using SMARTPHONES/TABLETS (Data or Good internet connection is required)
 Turn on the GPS on your device.
 Open the Google Maps application.

 Navigate on the map to locate of your school site. You can scroll and zoom
to locate it.
 Tap and hold on the specific location (school site) to mark
it with a red pin (red balloon).
 If in the school site, proceed to the location of the flag pole, tap the phone’s
“location” icon and tap your ACTUAL LOCATION on your phone for the red
pin (red balloon) to appear.

 Tap and hold on the red pin (red balloon)

for the coordinates of the determined
location to appear on the search bar.

 Take a screenshot or copy the coordinates shown.

Process in Determining the School

Using the Laptop (Good internet connection is required)
 Open your browser (Chrome)
 Type “Google Maps” in the URL bar.

 Navigate the location of your school site. Use the mouse scroll to zoom in
and out the location.

 Right click on the location to reveal its coordinates.

 Click the coordinates to copy it.

Latitude and Longitude readings are in
