STAFF NURSE
Provide high-quality care to patients of different ages
according to hospital policies.
Assist with the continuous development of staff.

Identify hazards in the workplace and provide


solutions.
Treat emergency injuries.

Develop programs to maintain health and safety.

Identify work-related risks.
Stay abreast with latest developments in the
nursing field.
Attend educational seminars and workshops for
professional development.
Provide guidance to other Nurses when
required.

Interact with patients, understand their needs and
develop patient care plans.
Make updates to the patient care plan according to
their changing needs.
Document all injuries and illnesses and complete
patient documentations
Educate patients and their families about the treatment
procedures.

Maintain patient information secure and confidential.

Provide treatments to patients as per Physician’s


orders.
Monitor patient progress and update the Physician on
a regular basis.
Operate medical instruments and equipment effectively
to ensure patient safety.

Maintain and provide update to all medical
records and administer all routine tests and
examination
Manage all patients in units
Oversee work of nursing department
Administer all nursing services provided
Organize and schedule all committee meetings

Prepare schedule for all shifts
Monitor all patient care activities
Develop quality assurance program for all
nursing activities
Coordinate with shift head nurse to organize all
nursing staff meetings
Provide orientation to all new employees and
prepare training program
HEAD SUPERVISOR
Assess patient care requirements on each
unit.
Assess the acuity of care required by the
patients and ensuring the delivery of effective
patient care.
Develop and implement staffing plans for
shifts based on patient acuity, patient census
and available staff.
Assist staff to efficiently utilize staffing
resources to meet patient care requirements
and other professional responsibilities.
HEAD SUPERVISOR
Provide for immediate follow-up, documentation and
communication of incidents to appropriate manager
and director.
Respond to emergency situations and assists as
necessary.
Act as a resource in identifying and/or solving
clinical, administrative, operational problems.
Anticipate actual/potential problems that may occur
on their shift.
Act as a resource, interpret and ensure adherence to
Hospital and nursing philosophy, policies and
procedures.
HEAD
SUPERVISOR
Report to the administrator-on-call significant incidents
and problems.
Assess and evaluate ongoing performance of the
nursing staff. Nursing supervisors provide support,
guidance and feedback to staff.
Assist staff to interpret change in a positive manner
and to provide a safe work environment for patient
care.
Assist in the preparation and implementation of the
annual goals for the department.

SUPERVISOR
Keep professionally current.
Consistently and independently follows established
safety and infection control procedures.
Meet or exceed expectations of individuals for whom
service is provided.
Assist physicians and staff in admission criteria for
assigning admission status to patients.
Monitor documentation for adherence to Utilization
rules and regulations
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
A Medical Director, or Clinical Medical Director, is responsible for
overseeing daily operations of a healthcare facility.
Reviewing healthcare laws and regulations to
implement in daily practices

Monitoring facility or department budgets

Developing strategies to improve communication


between medical professionals and patients.
