Understanding the different parts of speech is important in
understanding how words can and should be joined together
to make sentences that are both grammatically correct and
readable. An understanding of the parts of speech is also
important for knowing how to correctly punctuate sentences.
what is Noun ?
Nouns make up the largest class of words in most
languages, including English. A noun is a word that refers
to a thing (book), a person (Betty Crocker), an animal (cat),
a place (Omaha), a quality (softness), an idea (justice), or
an action (yodeling). It's usually a single word, but not
always: cake, shoes, school bus, and time and a half are all

a pronoun is a word that is used instead
of a noun or noun phrase. Pronouns refer to
either a noun that has already been mentioned
or to a noun that does not need to be named
specifically.

a word used to describe an action, state,
or occurrence, and forming the main
part of the predicate of a sentence, such
as hear, become, happen .
  what are adjectives ?
Adjectives are the words that are used to describe the
qualities of the noun so it can be said that they are
used to modify or specify the noun and limit the
meaning of the noun. Some examples of the adjectives
are – red, quick, big, etc
