Develop the capacity of eight media


organizations/networks to actively advocate and
communicate for the rights of the children and
women – NIMC has covered CRS/Private Radio TV
and Online

To achieve the target of SDGs, the 7th five-year plan


and vision 2021 on children and women issues
Project Outputs:
Advocacy and knowledge for children and women will be increased
in the community, Media communication with a special campaign
will advocate children and women issues for overall development

The capacity of media organizations/networks to actively advocate


and communicate for children and women enhanced

Knowledge and skills of media personnel for communicating


information on the situation of children and women issues enhanced

Adolescent boys and girls from selected communities are engaged to


develop desired behaviours and facilitate action to eliminate harmful
social norms and practices with a focus on ending child marriage.

Implementation of the articles of CRC, CEDAW and the targets of


SDGs and Vision 2021 will be achieved.
Project Outcomes
Infants and young children and their mothers, especially
the most disadvantaged, utilize quality and sustainable
social services in a safe environment and their families are
empowered to practice positive behaviour(C4D)

Boys and girls of primary school age, especially the most


disadvantaged, life and are learning equitably in an
inclusive, healthy, safe and resilient environment(C4D)

Adolescent girls and boys, especially the most


disadvantaged, utilize quality basic social services in a
safe and protected environment and are empowered and
resilient as active agents of change(C4D)

An enhanced policy environment and national and sub-


national systems are in place for the realization of child
rights, with a focus on equity and resilience, guided by
knowledge and evidence
Making social and behavioural changes in the mindset of the people
about children and women’s rights through improved survival,
development, protection and participation within the framework of
CRC, CEDAW

Conduct effective communication programs through media for


advocacy, and social mobilization with a special focus on a
disadvantaged, marginalized group

Media communication with special campaigns, advocacy and


knowledge for children and women will increase in the community

More children, especially vulnerable and marginalized children will


be supported to participate in the media

Media and journalists, as independent players in society, constitute a diverse and professional media landscape and
function as change catalysts in line with children and Women.
The establishment of an enabling environment for the media, conducive to children and Women.
Media serve the interests of the children and women and act as a watchdog on their behalf
Journalists and media experts work professionally for the interests of the children and women / Coverage of diversity
and gender issues.
Strengthened professionalism and sustainability of media house and improved people’s participation in media
development and content.
Useful knowledge and improved skills for covering children and women’s issues
