also increasingly relying on such types of business ownership.

As part of Economic Action Plan 2015, the Government of Canada will create and execute an Action Plan for Women Entrepreneurs to help more
women start and grow their businesses. The Government of Canada has also committed to implementing measures that will ensure increased
representation of women in leadership roles within some of Canada's largest companies.

Economic Action Plan 2015 committed to modernizing Canada's corporate governance framework. This would include proposed amendments to
the Canada Business Corporations Act to promote gender diversity among public companies using the "comply or explain" model of disclosure.

Since 2007, the Government of Canada has invested over $162 million through Status of Women Canada in support of more than 780 community-
based projects across Canada. This includes over $14 million for projects that support women in entrepreneurship.
LIMITATION OF STUDY

 The study aims to investigate the over all status of start-ups mompreneurs e-business only but not
concentrate about any traditional or family business.

 A lack of diversity in the women’s businesses. While the women’s professional backgrounds included a
wide range of fields, the study lacked product-focused businesses and was heavily based in the services
sector.

 This study also included mostly small, self-funded businesses and did not include businesses that were
backed by venture capital

 It did not include father entrepreneurs for comparison, which would have allowed for further examination of
how much having children impacts a person developmentally, as well as the degree to which social support
plays a role.
CONCLUSION
IN this proposal I have learned a lot about what goes into becoming a mompreneur ,how they come in to e-business by
accepting a lot of risk& challenges.

Statistics also show about mompreneur growth & development ,as over past few years more & more moms becoming
mompreneur.

According to the state of small business survey, the no. of women owned business rose by 17% in 2017 only,71% of all female-
owned business report they were profitable!

Thus women are the primary or sole bread winner in 40% of household with children under 18, from 2007-2018 women
owned business have increased by over 58%

Lastly each woman felt supported by others in her life and was able to frame her experience through a lens of personal growth
and learning was significantly linked to her own confidence and success in business. Persistence in the face of life challenges,
raising a family, and growing a business was underscored by a willingness to view these experiences as learning opportunities,
with the help of family, peers, and loved ones.
