BUSINESS PLAN PRESENTATION

GROUP PROJECT BY KASHISH, KANYA AND MAHIR

THE PROBLEM?

We are all aware that the rate of mental health issues showed a
huge spike during the pandemic.
Many households and individuals introduced a new member to
their families during such situations to accompany themselves.
Most commonly, dogs and cats.
Before making such huge decisions, comes a whole lot of planning
and education about being pet parents.
Now due to the commencement of the offline world, inconveniences
have started occurring concerning pets and their owners.
There are a number of options available when owners need a pet sitter. People
needing in-home care for pets often rely on neighbors, friends, or relatives.
This works well for weekends or a single night, but it may become an
imposition when an owner is frequently leaving for 3 or more days at a time –
especially for the dogs that need ample exercise and extra attention.
Doggie Day Camps provide socialization and exercise, but at night, dogs are
kept in crates with no staff supervising the facility. Veterinary offices offer
boarding services, but may only provide dogs with one or two walks per day.
SOLUTION

• We are here to come to the rescue and help the working pet parents and
their furry little ones. Our company ‘FURDAYS’ is here to provide pet
daycare services for all the working pet parents.
• Owners who wish for their dog to be with a nurturing and responsive
caretaker, who goes to the dog park 3 times a day, will be thankful they
used Furday’s pet sitting. FPS also provides reliable in-home care
services for cats or other small animals at competitive prices.

their favorite dog parks.

TARGET MARKET

• We have limited our target market to people own canines and have the
ability to afford such a service.
• We are aware that our service is an extra in life, not a necessity. We
anticipate and expect to cater to the upper-class citizens within our
geographical area.
• Our target market consists of canine owners that have the financial
capabilities to care for their dogs in an elaborate manner. Most will be
from double income homes with high profile jobs that require an
extensive amount of time away from the home.
TECHNOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS

• 1. Website- Today’s modern consumers love the ability to book online. They

don’t want to waste time sending in an enquiry, waiting for you to reply, placing
their booking through email or over the phone and then waiting for reservation
details to be sent.
• Website automates online bookings and lets customers sign up for your services
straight away. They can see when you have availability, choose their preferred
date and services and place their booking in just a couple of minutes.
• This is great for us too as it vastly reduces your administration time so that you
can spend longer on what you love most – taking care of your canine customers!
2. Automated Invoicing and Payments- This software helps in simplifying
your admin processes through the use of pet management software that
auto-generates invoices and lets you take instant payments online.

3. Data Security- In our digital world, data security is paramount. Pet

management software will help keep our customers’ information safe – as
well as all our important business data. Cloud-based online systems will
allow us to access information from any device at any time, with safe data
storage procedures in place to ensure everything is secure, private and
backed-up
MARKETING

• Social Media- Social media is a medium that has the most potential since all of us are
active users of these platforms. We are planning to grow our social media platforms and
engage our followers to gain opinion about what they want and expect from our business.
• Unlike the regular and the most common utilization of Facebook business pages i.e.
posting pictures and videos of pets, we will add our phone number and email address,
which will make it easy for potential customers to reach out to us.
Blog on Website- Blogging is so much more than a random collection of
thoughts and the latest happenings in your business. We can get really
focused, and share content that fits our pet sitting business. We will plan to
think and write about the most common questions we’re asked, and why our
target customers should hire us. From there, we will write up posts like “why
you need to hire a professional pet sitter” or “how to avoid accidents in the
house.”
