 Introduction

A resume is a brief summary of personal and professional experiences, skills, and

education history.

When a job seeker wants to apply for a job online then generally he/she needs to attach
his/her resume with the email. Online Resume Builder can be used in accordance with the
requirements of the customers. Customers can customize their resumes with their choice
of themes & details.

As placement season of most of the colleges is going to start in the final year, making
Resume is a very hectic work for all the students. Also, many companies judge the
candidature of a student just by his/her Resume.

Resume Builder is the Web Application which helps students to get their resume in hand
just by filling up a simple form where important credentials need to be filled.
 Existing System Drawbacks

 Lack of immediate downloads :-

The information is very difficult to download and to find particular information. This
results in inconvenience and wastage of time.

 Restricted to use various fonts & formats:-

Due to this restriction the users cannot customize their resumes.

 Provides fixed format of resume :-

By using the fixed format as thousand other job seekers, candidates loose their individual
creativity.

The main objective of proposed system is to provide for a quick and efficient retrieval of information.

In the proposed system utmost care would be that no information is repeated anywhere, in storage or
otherwise. This would assure economic use of storage space and consistency in the data stored.

The level of accuracy in the proposed system will be higher. All operation would be done correctly and
it ensures that what ever information is coming from the server is accurate.
