OUR STRUGGLES

and
GODS STRENGTH
ISAIAH 40:27-31
ISAIAH 40:28
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The
LORD is an Eternal GOD, the Creator of the
whole earth. He does not get tired or weary,
there is no limit to HIS wisdom.”
ISAIAH 40:29
“He gives strength to those who are
tired; to the ones who lack power, He
gives renewed energy.”
ISAIAH 40:30
“Even youths get tired and weary;
even strong young men clumsily
stumble.”
ISAIAH 40:31
“But those who wait upon the LORDs help finds
renewed strength; they rise up as if they had
eagles wings, they run without growing weary,
they walk without getting tired.”
There are times in your life that you
experience different struggles,
discouragements.

We may feel that God is not listening

our prayers, didn’t feel what we feel
and sadness overtaken us.
We need GOD in the
circumstances that
causes us pain.
“God only puts us through
as much as we can handle,
so the people who struggle
the most, have been
chosen by God to be the
strongest.”
How to turn your
STRUGGLES into
STRENGTH?
1. BY KNOWING WHO
YOUR GOD REALLY
IS.
Where are you God when I need
you most?

Why I always have problems,

unfulfilled dreams, desires that
never happened?
When God speaks on our
situation, he does not speak….
Scientifically
Technologically
Academically or
Philosophically.
HE speaks THEOLOGICALLY.
ISAIAH 40:28
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The
LORD is an Eternal GOD, the Creator of the
whole earth. He does not get tired or weary,
there is no limit to HIS wisdom.”
He raises an issue :
Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
Theological Concept:
Everlasting, Eternal, Creator, All-
powerful, All-knowing,
Omniscience, Omnipotent.
Eternal – not limited on time and
space.
Creator – His power is able to know
and His understanding is inscrutable
and oversees anything.
So when problem strikes us, let us
go back to what we know.
We can ask GOD a question but
we cannot question GOD.

To ask God a question is to ask

Him to help us understand.
To question GOD is to challenge
Him.
DEUTERONOMY 29:29
“The secret thing belongs unto
the Lord our God.”
2. BY DOING THE
RIGHT THING.
ISAIAH 40:31
“But those who wait upon the LORDs help finds
renewed strength; they rise up as if they had
eagles wings, they run without growing weary,
they walk without getting tired.”
When life gets unfair?
Wait upon the LORD!!!
Don’t find other ways away
from GOD.
Turn to Him not turn from
Him.
Sarah had to wait for a baby, Hannah too.
Ruth had to wait for a kinsman redeemer.
Noah had to wait the flood.
Joseph had to wait longer in prison.
Disciples had to wait for the Holy Spirit.
Church are also waiting for the return of
CHRIST.
How did we know we are waiting
to God like them?

When the majority of our time

spend on worshipping and not on
complaining.
PSALMS 130:5-6
“5. I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in
His Word do I hope.
6. My soul waited for the Lord more than they
that watch for the morning: I say, more than
they that watch for the morning.”
LAMENTATIONS 3 : 25-26
“25. The LORD is good unto them that wait for
Him, to the soul that seeketh Him.
26. It is good that a man should both hope and
quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.”
3. BY REMINDING
OURSELVES OF WHAT
GOD CAN DO.
ISAIAH 40:29
“He gives strength to those who are
tired; to the ones who lack power, He
gives renewed energy.”
ISAIAH 40:30
“Even youths get tired and weary;
even strong young men clumsily
stumble.”
“A faithful God does not
expect you to do what
you cannot;
He supplies the needed
strength.”
Edwin W. Lutzer
God did not promise us to takes
our struggles or to answers all
our questions. But “HE will give
us strength”.
Strength that we don’t currently
have, because when we are in
crises strength drains from us.
“Be thankful for your
blessing and never doubt
your struggles. Don’t ask
why it happened, just be
thankful for the strength it
gave you.”
ISAIAH 40:31
“But those who wait upon the LORDs help finds
renewed strength; they rise up as if they had
eagles wings, they run without growing weary,
they walk without getting tired.”
1. Fly like an eagle.
– Gods Divine Intervention.
2. Run and not grow weary.
- Gods Enablement.
3. Walk but not tired, faint or
stumble.
- Gods Divine Encouragement.
God doesn’t fix everything like we
pray but He does something for us.
God put us in the position to accept
something He doesn’t intends to
change but to continue to walk.
He doesn’t changes the situation
but He changes you!
