- Around 5 months after the Lion Air Crash, Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 flying from Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) to Jomo
Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi (Kenya) six minutes after the takeoff killing all 157 on board.
 GROUNDING OF B737 MAX
- The Boeing 737 MAX passenger airliner was grounded worldwide between March 2019 and December 2020 -
longer in many jurisdictions – after the two crashes
