PROBLEM & AUDIENCE

Problem 1: College students needing training to learn how to use the Echo
Smartpen to record lectures.

Problem 2: Too many students to train each one via Zoom/ FaceTime, and
using videos does not provide opportunity for feedback.
GOAL:

Provide training to students remotely while reducing the amount of Zoom/


FaceTime training sessions, and provide a way to measure their knowledge.
OBJECTIVE
Create an online training module with quiz and questionnaire to
provide to students for independent training on the Echo SmartPen.

IMPLEMENTATION
The training module is implemented through
an email send to the student requesting that
they complete the online training module for
the Echo Smart Pen.

The training module is constructed


using Microsoft PowerPoint,
Microsoft Forms, and the internet.
Microsoft Forms tracks participation.

The Zoom/ FaceTime trainings will be substituted with an online
training module. The same function (training) is occurring, but
now it is with a self-paced learning module.

The training is made to be interactive so that the


students can pace their own learning.

EVALUATION

Evaluation is provided by the use of Microsoft Forms in the PowerPoint


training module. Evaluation of the training module will be determined
by quiz performances as well as a student survey for feedback.

Some ethical considerations:
