INTRODUCTION
• Designing quasi-antenna array for ambient power harvesting.
• To design rectangular sub array we require some parameters.
They are:
1. Operating frequency
2. Relative permittivity
3. Tangent of length of extension
4. Height

PROCEDURE FOR CALCULATING
PARAMETERS
STEP 1:
Calculation of the width (w) ,The width of the microstrip patch antenna
is given by

Where,
C = speed of light
Fo = operating frequency
STEP2
Calculating effective dielectric constant
STEP 3
Calculation of the effective length (leff)
STEP 4
Calculation of length extension
STEP 5
Calculation of actual length of patch (L):
STEP 6
Calculation of ground plane dimensions

Lg = 6h + L
RESULTS :

• Calculation of the width (w)  =  0.0496

• Calculating effective dielectric constant = 4.187

• Calculation of the effective length (leff) = 0.039

• Calculation of length extension = 0.007782

• Calculation of actual length of patch (L) = 0.03824
