Ensemble
 accompanies court ceremonies. It is composed of percussion and
woodwind instruments.

 Pi nai– the double reed pipe.

 Ranaat or ranat thum– xylophone

 Taphon– drum

 Ching– small cymbals

 Khawng wong lek– set of gongs

 This ensemble relatively plays loud music.,


Mahori
Ensemble
 Accompanies songs and plays. It plays the music that is a little
softer than the Phipat ensemble.

Ensemble
 Is mostly composed of stringed
instruments such as jackae, saw sam
sai, sao u, sao dung the Pi charba,
thon, and the ching completes this
ensembles. The dynamic characteristics
of this ensemble is described as the
softest of the three ensembles.
